About me

I am a self-taught digital photographer who began exploring the magical world of digital photography in 2013.

My passion for photography began when I was ten years old, after receiving my first camera, a Polaroid Swinger, as a gift from my aunt.  I purchased my first SLR camera in 1970 when I started attending High School.  I joined the photography club in school, where I learned to and developed black & white prints in a darkroom. I continued developing black & white prints and color transparencies until the mid-1980s, when suddenly I just gave it all up!  In 2013 I decided to rekindle my passion for photography and purchased my first DSLR camera, a Nikon D7100. Once again I began to pick up photography where I left it off back in the 1980s.

At present I focus my camera mainly on Nature & Wildlife and since May of 2016, when I relocated to North Central Florida, I have developed a special interest in photographing hummingbirds.

I continue to update my website with all of my latest images.
